Communications can be easily handled via phone and e-mail. We work with you throughout the design process. We will show you your work-in-progress online at a non-public web address to get your feedback as to the direction the design is going so it your website comes out exactly as you desire.
Planning
In this initial phase we get to know you. We start by going through your current website (if you have one) and list things that can be improved. We also go through your competitors websites and discuss what's good and bad about them in order to come up with a message that sets your site apart. We discuss what your needs are, your target market, and what galleries you want to highlight.
Initial Layout Design
We provide design "mockups" which we revise until you are satisfied with the design. We start with one or two design ideas, and then evolve the design based on your feedback. Often when you see the first mockups you will get more clarity on what you are looking for, and the revision process takes that into account.
If you have an existing brochure or business cards, we can match the style to preserve continuity between your marketing materials. Otherwise, we create a unique design based on your responses about your preferred style and format.
Web Development
After receiving your final approval on the "mockup", we will then begin coding and building the website and web pages, incorporating the design and all of the content that you provide.
Pre-launch Evaluation
After the site is built, you will be able to view all pages to make sure everything is exactly how you want it. You will submit any desired changes to the copy and then give final approval before the site goes live.
This is also the point where all testing and optimization gets done... accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, search engine optimization (SEO), etc.
Launching Your Website
Once the site is perfect, final payment has been received and you are ready to launch, your website will be published on your domain. We will upload it to our hosting server for you where it will be live for the world to see!
Search Engine Submission
Once the website is launched, your website will be submitted to the top free search engines so that it can easily be found.
